Dr. Kevin Martin
EYE DOCTOR
Dr. Kevin Martin was born and raised in Sonoma. After receiving his doctorate from U.C. Berkeley, he felt that he would love to return to his hometown to bring the best in eye care to his community. His specialties include laser vision correction co-management and consultation, contact lenses, eye disease management and senior eye care. He has completed U.C. Berkeley's Advanced Glaucoma Care symposium and specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of glaucoma. He also, holds a California State Therapeutic Pharmaceutical license (the highest level) and attends many continuing education classes throughout the year. Dr. Martin is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with his wife (Dr. Laura). |
Dr. Laura Martin
EYE DOCTOR
After receiving her doctorate from U.C. Berkeley Dr. Laura Martin worked with a renowned eye surgeon group where she provided pre and post surgical care to patients. After several years she joined her husband (Dr.Kevin) in practice in Sonoma. Her professional interests include laser vision correction, contact lenses and pediatric optometry. As several members of her family have been afflicted with macular degeneration, she has a strong personal and professional interest in proactive aging eye disease prevention. Dr. Martin has completed U.C. Berkeley's Advanced Glaucoma Management care symposium and attends many other continuing education seminars throughout each year. She also holds a Therapeutic Pharmaceutical license (highest level granted by the state of California). In her spare time she enjoys hiking, cycling, movies and spending time with her husband (Dr. Kevin). |
Dr. Lilly Chang
EYE DOCTOR - (habla Ingles y espanol) Dr. Chang was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology and minor in Spanish from UCLA, she obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. Her optometric training includes ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, vision therapy and low vision. She has served a diverse patient population with a high prevalence of cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. She is therapeutically certified to diagnose, manage and treat various eye diseases including glaucoma. In her free time, Dr. Chang enjoys running, photography and tending to her houseplants. |

SENIOR LAB TECHNICIAN - (habla ingles y espanol)
I have been at Sonoma Optometry Center for 23 years starting off as a receptionist then working my way up to Senior Lab Technician. I enjoy all of the technical aspects of making custom lenses for each patient. It is great to work in an office with the latest lens fabricating equipment. I have worked in most positions in the office and I now fill in wherever I am needed including interpreting for the Hispanic community. I enjoy the friendships that I have made as a team member of Sonoma Optometry Center. What can I say, I love my job! |

CERTIFIED OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT- (habla ingles y espanol)
My job is to assist the doctors with eye exams, performing tests with our high tech medical equipment such as digital retinal photography, ocular scans, macular pigment density testing and visual fields. This combines two of my passions: medical technology and working with all of our wonderful patients! |

OPTICAL TECHNICIAN- (habla ingles y espanol)
Vicky loves all things optical! She not only will give you great advice in picking out the perfect frame and lenses customized just for you, she is also proficient in performing certain medical tests that the doctors order. In her spare time, she loves traveling (she recently returned from Cambodia!), reading and playing with her pets. |

Jackie has a Bachelor's degree in linguistics. She loves meeting all of our patients and customers! She can help you make an appointment, answer your insurance questions and so much more. Jackie enjoys reading and exercising, including walks with her cat. |
